Serendipity Home Services provides residential and commercial landscaping, lawn care, garden bed installation, rock beds, design, and outdoor maintenance services throughout Austin and surrounding areas. Service details, pricing, and timelines are provided in your individual estimate or work order agreement.

2. Estimates and Quotes

  • All estimates are free and valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Estimates are based on current labor and material costs at the time they are issued.
  • We reserve the right to revise an estimate if project conditions change or additional work is requested.

3. Payments and Billing

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise stated in your contract.
  • We accept major credit cards, checks, and digital payments.
  • Invoices not paid within 15 days may incur late fees.
  • For recurring or seasonal maintenance services, payments are due at the start of each service cycle.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • To cancel or reschedule a service, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Same-day cancellations may result in a service charge.
  • We reserve the right to postpone services due to unsafe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a completed service, notify us within 48 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue at no additional charge.

6. Warranties and Limitations

  • Plant health and growth depend on external factors such as weather, irrigation, and soil conditions; therefore, no guarantee is made on plant survival unless specified in writing.
  • Hardscape projects (e.g., retaining walls) include a limited 1-year workmanship warranty against major structural defects.
  • We are not responsible for damages caused by pre-existing conditions, hidden utilities, or issues not visible during inspection.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide clear access to the service area and disclose any underground utilities or irrigation systems.
  • Pets should be secured during service appointments for safety.
  • Any hazardous materials, unstable structures, or special conditions must be disclosed before work begins.

8. Communications and SMS Policy

  • By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages such as confirmations, reminders, and review requests.
  • You may receive occasional promotional messages if you opt in to marketing communications.
  • You can opt out anytime by replying “STOP” to any text message.
  • Your phone number and contact preferences will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes.

9. Liability and Damages

Serendipity Home Services will not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability will not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service provided.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Serendipity Home Services and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

11. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if a client violates these Terms, engages in unsafe behavior, or fails to make payment.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Travis County, TX.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in business practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
